
Anjali Prabhakar is a contemporary artist from Bhopal, India whose artwork relates to spirituality, feelings and strengths of women. She also creates FOLK ART and the Gond ART with fusion work.

She prefers to work with oil colour as she considers it as very smooth and long lasting. The mixture of colours binding are very nice. At times she also works with acrylic paint.

She has exhibited globally that largely include destinations like Dubai, Sri Lanka, Bangkok, Nepal and Malaysia. She has also exhibited at many prestigious art shows, prominent amongst them were World Art Dubai, Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai, and India Art Festival in Delhi.

A. How many years you have been in the field of art and why?
I am working scince 1993 because it's not to represent the outward appearance of things but their inward significant it's a soul work.
B. What media you have been using so far?
Mostly I'm working in oil on canvas but some time I also love to work with acrylic paint.
C. What media you are planning to explore in the future?
I will continue with oil on canvas
D. What kind of uniqueness you spotlight using your art?
Mostly I work on human life circumstances and feelings of women.
