With the decline in COVID infections across the state, the Maharashtra government today eased coronavirus-related restrictions in 14 districts including Mumbai. These 14 districts are: Mumbai city, Mumbai suburban, Pune, Bhandara, Sindhudurg, Nagpur, Raigad, Wardha, Ratnagiri, Satara, Sangli, Gondia, Chandrapur and Kolhapur.
Restaurants, shopping complexes, cinema halls, swimming pools, religious places, entertainment parks and theatres can now operate at 100% capacity in these 14 districts.
“For other administrative units excluded from this list, these shall operate at 50% of the capacity," the statement said.
As per a government statement these districts have first vaccination dose more than 90%, second dose over 70% with the positivity rate less than 10% and bed occupancy of oxygen supported or ICU bed is less than 40%.
