
First class in Master of Arts, Janhavi is an Artist & Art Conservator from Pune, Maharashtra believes in utilising her talent in Art Conservation & Museology. She has been trained and experienced in working with all types of materials like metal, paper, palm leaf and canvas.

She has worked as an Art Conservation Head New Museum ‘Mujumdar Wada’ project at Pune and was also Conservation In-charge at Symbiosis Society’s. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum & Memorial, Pune and has been associated with many more prestigious organisations.
Learning has never been at a stay for Janhavi as even after pursuing Masters in Arts she has been involved in upgrading her knowledge.

Throughout her career she has received many awards and Accolades from institutes like Karandikar Kala Academy, Dombivali (Mumbai).
She is a published writer in the field of arts for Kesari, a leading print media publication.

She has designed the entire museum for the famous sculpturist and artist Mr sadashiv Sathe on sculptures made by him and she has also written a book on his works titled "Shilpalay"

A. How many years you have been in the field of art and why?
I have been in this field since 2003.
B. What media you have been using so far?
I use acrylic on canvas
C. What media you are planning to explore in the future?
I plan to do advanced paintings on canvas using acrylic
D. What kind of uniqueness you spotlight using your art?
I believe in realism, so I want to showcase that through my art. I want the viewers to believe that science is real.
