Ninad Chinchankar is one such autodidactic artist from Mumbai who has a unique flair for working on Cubism.

Though with a formal education in the field of commerce he has been pursuing and innovating his ambition as an artist.

India Art Festival 2022 in Mumbai was the third exhibition for Ninad, before this he had been an exhibitor at Kala Ghoda Art Festival in 2017 and Art Plaza in 2016

A. How many years you have been in the field of art and why?
Art is like a therapy or we can say an healing method that gives me inner happiness and satisfaction of doing things in my way and how I wanted to be.
Even Art gives me a great confidence to speak up through my paintings which colour combinations and composition which I paint.
B. What media you have been using so far?
Charcoal and that gives confidence and freedom to explore and experiment things like a artistic way. Then I turned into Oils which gave me more experimenting methods like to mix colours to shapes and to set a colour tone contrast for the colourful paintings as I very much found of to paint.
C. What media you are planning to explore in the future?
I would like to explore Sculpturing to crafts the shapes and composition in Cubist way.
D. What kind of uniqueness you spotlight using your art?
Cubism gives me desire and challenges to paint and draw the cubist painting as the figures or compositions are in Squares, Rectangular, Circle and Quadrilateral, which gives my challenge to my thought process and colour combinations as like "To think out of the box" as some says.
