Sheezan Mohammed Khan has been sent to four-day police custody by Vasai court in Mumbai on Sunday, December 25 in connection with the death of his Co star Tunisha Sharma. The police arrested Sheezan under section 306 (abetment to suicide) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
"Sheezan Khan has been sent to custody for 4 days. The police don't have any evidence as yet. Allegations were put against him. A further probe is yet to be conducted," said Sheezan Khan's advocate.
The court allowed Khan to take homemade food and medicine with him after the lawyer told the court that Sheezan has asthma.
Tunisha was reportedly in a relationship with Sheezan Khan before she broke up with him, which purportedly prompted her to commit suicide.
Based on a complaint filed by Tunisha Sharma's mother, the police registered a case against Sheezan M Khan, under Indian Penal Code Section 306 (abetment of suicide) and arrested him.
