Rahul Narvekar the Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly inaugurates The Great Indian Art 2022

Mumbai today witnessed a spectacular beginning and inauguration of a five day art festival, The Great Indian Art 2022, The show that hosts 25 eminent artist from across India was organised by The Indian Gallery (founded by Anjali Kaur Arora and Hiral Shah) and Video Shorts Arts and Entertainment (founded by Narendra Singh Arora). 

The event was graced by eminent personalities from politics, business, arts, media and entertainment. Rahul Narvekar, the Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly was the Chief Guest at the event with the other guest of honours that included Shri Vikash Mittersain (CMD of Nazara Technologies Ltd), Shri Nitin Shah (CMD of Allied Digital), Shri Sadashiv Kulkarni (Eminent Artist and Art Faculty), Shri Rajesh Puri (Film & Television actor), Shri Naveen Bawa (Film & Television actor) and Dilip Patel (Editor and Publisher of Mumbai Tarang). 


“Colaba is my constituency which is a hub for both fine arts and performing arts and I personally appreciate and extend my support to the organisers, the Arora family and The Indian Gallery for their efforts in promoting the art of our country,” said Mr. Narvekar. Every other guest of honour expressed their thoughts towards the event. “I will love to speak a lot but I am speechless looking at the entire show,” said Mr. Mittetsain. “There is lot scope for development in the sector of arts and I extend my wishes to all the organisers here,” said Mr. Nitin Shah. “I am always there to support every event of the art and wish all the organisers good luck for their future,” said Mr. Rajesh Puri. “This event is truly grand and hope to be present at every event organised in future,” said Mr. Bawa. “Taking the art in the right manner ahead is very important for the artist and such platforms do make a huge difference,” said Mr. Kulkarni. “I extend my warm wishes to all the organisers and the event is truly spectacular,” said Mr. Patel.

The 25 prominent artist from across India, exhibiting their artwork were Sadhu Amrutvandandas, Ajay Samir, Sumitra Ahlawat, Qureysh Basrai, Rakhee Shah, Arindam Chakravorty, Sudha Barshikar, Bilkis Reshamvala, Shabnam Reshamvala, Shilpa Dalal, Anuradha, Neha Jhunjhunwala, Abhijit Chaubal, Renuka Kerasamadu, Sejal Bhuta, Niriha 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚, Shiv Lal Bagria, Jayshree Savani, Deepshikha Bishoyi, Sohnal Saxena, Sibaprasad Mohanty, Priya Anandmoyee, Aarushi Kumar, Avigyan Bhattacharya, Sakina Mandsaurwalla. There are over 300 artworks in total exhibit which includes paintings, sculptures, murals, and Indian Folk Art like Patrachitra, Madhubani and Mandala. 


The show conducted at Kamalnayan Bajaj Hall in Bajaj Bhavan at Nariman Point, Mumbai is open for public between 11:00 am till 07:00 pm from 10th till 14th Oct 2022.
